Trip Journal
A couple of times a year I embark on SRTs that I consider adventure driven and solitude bound. I’ll be sharing those with you along with other journeys and travels. Many times these outings are not at the outset meant to be adventurous. They often turn so with no prodding upon by me. That’s what I love about travel and specifically, road trips!
It is appropriate time to make some plans for the longer
term and it’s time to be happy. I have read this put up and if I may just I wish to recommend you few interesting issues or advice. Maybe you can write subsequent articles relating to this article. I wish to read even more issues about it!

I am embarking on my first solo camping trip! I am shocked that my husband of 33 years is so supportive! I think he knows he doesn’t have a choice – so he might as well have a positive attitude! Still, it makes it easier that I don’t need to fight him to gain a little independence. My car is packed and ready to go! Now the hardest part is getting to sleep tonight! I’m sooo excited! Thanks for all the encouragement!

I am about to embark on a serious solo road trip. A lot of people think I’m crazy.
I couldn’t be more excited! Thanks for showing me I’m probably right in my excitement!

Cool website!! I appreciate your courage for the solo trips that you undertake. I have bookmarked your website. I wish I also travel someday just like you (I always wanted to) and your travel instills the courage in me for my future trip.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen your site. Looks like you have been quite busy. I’m glad I clicked on your link again. I think you are a truly excellent photographer (I am one as well). I especially love your work in New Mexico and your black & white work. I also have a great appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the state. I have a friend who has a cabin in Eagle Nest, not too far from Taos, and he’s invited me up there from time to time. Love Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch. You remind me a bit of Cheryl Strayed, the gal who did a solo hike of the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) and currently has a best seller out chronicling her 1100 mile trek. Keep going. You too have a story to tell. Good luck!

I too enjoy the SRT and am glad to have stumbled upon an ad for your site on facebook. I also love the Badlands. I recognized your photo of the saloon in Scenic. What i lack is handiness with a camera, so I never have a record worthy of the trip and can’t share it with anyone. That’s the hell of an SRT – when you have one of those unbelievable moments and there is no one to share it with. The heaven of an SRT is that if you were with people, you wouldn’t have witnessed the unbeleiavable moment. What a beautiful site you have here. I’ll be keeping an eye out – and taking more pictures.

Nice site. Good luck figuring out who this is. I think you should add a button for srt’s of others. I have a couple I could share as does my mom.
